15 Minute Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry
Servings: 2
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- For the Beef and Broccoli:
- ¾ lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- For the Sauce:
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp beef bone broth
- ½ tsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions
- Prepare the Beef: Pat the beef dry and season with black pepper. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef in a single layer and sear for about 1–2 minutes per side until browned but not overcooked. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Cook the Broccoli: In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tbsp oil. Stir-fry broccoli for 3–4 minutes until tender-crisp. Add a splash of water if needed to steam slightly.
- Make the Sauce & Combine: Reduce heat to medium and add garlic and ginger, stirring for 30 seconds. Stir in soy sauce, beef broth, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Return the beef to the pan, toss with the sauce, and cook for another minute.
- Serve & Enjoy: Serve on its own or over rice for a complete meal. Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds (unsalted).
