After-Dinner Nightcaps

Whipped Coffee White Russian

Servings: 1

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • ice
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur
  • 1 oz (2 tbsp) heavy whipping cream
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 2 tbsp instant coffee
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp hot water

Instructions:

  1. Fill a cup halfway with ice. Pour the coffee liqueur over the ice.
  2. Pour a handful of ice, cream and vodka into a cocktail shaker. Shake for 30 seconds and strain into the cup.
  3. Add the coffee, sugar and hot water to a medium mixing bowl.
  4. Whisk until the mixture is foamy and stiff. Gently spoon over the cream mixture and enjoy.

Chai Hot Toddy

Servings: 1

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 Chai tea bag
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • ΒΎ cup boiling water
  • 2 oz bourbon or whiskey
  • 1 Β½ tbsp lemon juice (about half a lemon) plus a round slice for garnish
  • 1 cinnamon stick for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Add the tea bag to a cup and pour in the boiling water. Let steep for 5 minutes. Discard the tea bag.
  2. Add the honey, bourbon and lemon juice. Stir together until the honey is dissolved. Garnish with a lemon round slice and cinnamon stick. Enjoy!

Iced Mocha Mezcal

Servings: 1

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp grated dark chocolate
  • 1 oz chocolate liqueur plus more for rim of glass
  • 2 oz espadΓ­n mezcal
  • 4 oz cold brew coffee
  • 1 oz (2 tbsp) half & half
  • β…› tsp cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Pour a small amount of chocolate liqueur in a shallow bowl. Add the grated chocolate to a small plate and roll the rim of the glass in the liqueur and then chocolate, slightly pressing to adhere. Fill the glass with ice.
  2. Add ice and all of the ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Shake for 30 seconds and pour over ice. Enjoy!

Apple Old Fashioned

Servings: 1

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz apple whiskey
  • 3 dashes bitters
  • 2 oz sparkling apple cider
  • apple slice for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Fill a glass with ice. Add the whiskey and bitters to a cocktail shaker. Shake for 30 seconds.
  2. Pour over ice. Top off with the cider. Garnish with the apple slice and enjoy.
